Java Developers
Mobile IQ is looking for developers experienced in building enterprise-class java applications using the latest industry best practices. You will be working within the engineering team to implement a list of exciting new features in our Fabric™ platform.
As a Java Developer you will:
- Work closely with our Technical Director to design new features of the platform including initial UML specification.
- Implement new features using the latest Java development methodologies.
- Contribute to our overall agile engineering process proactively suggesting ways to improve it based on industry best practice.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years experience in developing commercial Java applications with J2EE web applications (no EJB required). Any experience in mobile / WAP development is valuable.
- Technology experience including Java, Spring, JUnit, Hibernate, Maven, Subversion with an appreciation of design patterns and other common development best practices.
- XML experience with DOM and SAX.
- Platform experience including Linux, Tomcat, MySql, BEA Weblogic etc.
- Experience with the Google Web Toolkit is beneficial.
- Design experience with Enterprise Architect and UML is beneficial.
- Well organised with good communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Able to work legally in the UK/EU.
